A dual major in computer science and math, Quinten Jin has really been making it count as Magevet’s newest Bostonian Magevateer. A deep and wide-ranging thinker, with a vocal range to match, he can just as easily tell you about literature, politics, or Chinese opera as he can about why math and computer science are for more than just counting puns.
A true artist, when Quinten isn’t singing tenor, he’s pulling flowers from negative space in elaborate and mesmerizing paper cuts. Or maybe he’s busy keeping the YPU on track. Or perhaps reading recently published scientific articles. Or coding for new projects. Of course, whatever he’s doing, he’s bringing his musical ear, powerful voice, and quiet exuberance to every Magevet performance.
